Oxygen

Express Oxygen Discharge

Hayat is the only provider in Chicagoland which simplifies the oxygen set-up process for both the hospital and the patient. The majority of durable medical equipment companies use a traditional model to set up a patient upon discharge from the hospital. This traditional model can be overwhelming for both the hospital and the patient. The hospital case manager or respiratory therapists object in setting a patient on oxygen is to provide the patient with the least cumbersome and expeditious means upon discharge. The hospital depends on various factors including the delivery technician from the DME to be on the time of discharge and the patient has the ride to get home accordingly.

Portable Concentrator

Home Oxygen System

Hayat will request for ordering physician to qualify a patient for a portable concentrator to create a continued active life for oxygen patients. The traditional tank system creates a challenge for patients to ensure an active life due to their dependency on having enough tanks to be mobile. Hayat will reach out to the physician for an order so that Hayat can test the patient on a pulse mode oxygen concentrator to provide the patient with the lightest and most effective system within 7 – 10 days of being discharged. Finally, Hayat will provide all oxygen patients with the portable concentrator model to promote a more active lifestyle and less dependency on tanks.
